Course Rules
- NO MP3 players, IPODs, radios or headphones allowed on the bike or run course.
- Wetsuits may be worn.
- There is no time limit for the event.
- Helmets and swim caps are mandatory. Swim Caps will be provided. Bike helmets must be secure once you leave the transition area.
- Drafting is not permitted. Penalties will be enforced for drafting.
- Chip Pick-Up is the morning of the event during registration.
- To get your chip, you must first have your bib number. Lost timing chips are the responsibility of the participant. The fee for a lost timing chip is $30.
- Transition Area will close 15 minutes prior to the start of the event, at 6:45 a.m.
- Relays will exchange the timing chip in the transition area at the bike rack for each portion of the race. If you exchange your chip outside the area, your team may be disqualified
- All racers need to dismount the bike and walk/run across the mat before entering the transition area
- Absolutely no transferring of bibs to another participant.
- All runners are required to wear a bib number and it MUST be worn facing forward when crossing the finish line.
- To ensure the safety of spectators, participants and their equipment, absolutely no spectators are allowed in the transition area.
- Please be courteous towards other racers that are in the transition area
- Please no pets at the parks and race areas.
Please clean up after yourselves.
